March 18, 2010- Lake Powell Level Good News for Boaters
2010 is shaping up to be another banner year for boaters on Lake Powell. Dwayne Cassidy, Director of Tourism for Page Lake Powell, says "The reports that we are receiving from the Bureau of Reclamation forecast a continuation of lake levels that are ideal for boating. Last year was a tremendous year for boaters do to the combination of rising lake levels and the significant dredging that the National Park Service accomplished in the Castle Rock Cut area......"(more)

An arching stone bridge higher than the nation's capitol and nearly as long as a football field - Rainbow Bridge, the world’s largest known natural bridge is celebrating 100 years of being a National Monument this May 30th.
